Clinical Trials

Clinical trials are a type of research. They involve people and test health-related “interventions” (e.g., drugs, devices, surgery, diagnostic procedures, diet and lifestyle) to see how they work. Both healthy people and people with medical conditions can help in the development of new interventions. By participating in a clinical trial you may be able to help yourself as well as people you don’t know who are experiencing health issues.
